In March 2023, iCarbon Limited entered the annual B4B Challenge which is an event organised by B4B Limited, a social enterprise based in Hong Kong that aims to promote the development of a healthy and sustainable ecosystem for Big Data and AI Innovation.
 

iCarbon felt honored to be awarded as one of the winners for this year’s B4B Challenge 2022/23 under the Best Solution Award in the ‘Carbon Tech for Real Estate’ category.
 

The Founder & Managing Director of MES Group, Sr Miranda Lui, represented iCarbon Limited during the product presentation session, which was a session reserved for winners of the event.
 

iCarbon, a BIM-based carbon calculator, is a platform that leverages IoT, Big Data and AI technologies to support detailed building energy reporting, carbon emissions and sustainability performance analysis, integrate large volumes of data for ESG reporting in compliance with HKEX ESG Guidelines, and generate insights and recommendations for decarbonization measures to improve ESG performance.
 

This year’s contest was exciting as we saw many participants successfully showcased their innovations with the goal of social and environmental betterment. Our team has great experience in networking with people at this event and exchanging valuable knowledge on technologies.
