Smart Infrastructure 2021, a webinar/conference jointly organized by The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Great Smart City Institute, Smart City Consortium and The Hong Kong Institute of Engineers, will be held on 13-14 May 2021. With the theme of “Smart Infrastructure”, this conference will enable participants to review the utilization of cutting-edge smart applications in the GBA, and how technologies can shape our cities to be more connected and sustainable.
It also provides a platform for professions to discuss the possibilities of incorporating the current technologies among the 9+2 cities, fostering the region’s synergic development instead of developing smart cities in silos, ultimately connecting the cities as a whole.
This webinar/conference will be cover 13 topics, including Smart Infrastructure, Smart Water Management, Remote Sensing, Big Data Analytics, Smart Transportation, Smart Waste Management, Sensing for Health Monitoring, Robotics for Inspection, Applications in GBA, Smart built environment (buildings, hospitals, etc.), Smart Grids, Walkability and Digital twin for Infrastructure.
Mr. Alexander Shanjing Zhou, MES Group’s Research & Development Director, will touch on the topic - Digital twin for Infrastructure on 14th May 2021 (Friday), at 11:15am.
